The KD Tools Spindle Nut Service Kit features 1/2-inch drive sockets used for most 4-wheel-drive SUV and light truck axle locknut applications. Use the sockets with a torque wrench, a ratchet, or a breaker bar. The sockets feature chrome vanadium steel construction for durability. The kit includes: a 4-Lug 4-wheel-drive spindle nut socket with multiple vehicle applications; a 6-Lug 4-wheel-drive spindle nut socket with multiple vehicle applications; a 4-wheel-drive spindle puller, which removes the front spindle to access needle bearings when lubricating and aligning front wheels; 5/8-inch-to-18-inch fine thread socket, which permits use with a slide hammer and fits spindle thread sizes 2-to-16 inches and 1-5/8-to-16 inches; and a Toyota lock nut tool, which services high-torque locknuts on Toyota 4-wheel-drive vehicles having free-wheel hubs. The kit is packaged in a blow-molded case, which includes laminated instruction cards or stickers integrated into case design for handy reference of application information.
